Zion Canyon Area

Weather

Zion National Park has been called "the brightest star next to the seat of God" and is one of the jewels of the national park system. Zion Canyon, up to 2,400 feet deep in places, cuts its way through the multi-color sheered cliffs and monolithic sandstone formations that define the region. Zion's beauty is accessible the entire year with easy interstate access from Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, and the surrounding areas. A hiker's and photographer's paradise, Zion is the cornerstone of the Zion-Bryce-Grand Canyon triangle.
